    • The Garden Flat occupies the ground floor of the main inn with its own private entrance — no lobby, no shared hallway, no stairs. You arrive directly into the space, which opens into a warm, wood-floored studio anchored by a butcher-block breakfast bar, a queen bed dressed in a quilted coverlet, and sliding glass doors that pull the outdoors inside.

    The layout has a logic to it. A sunlit sitting room spills off the main space through those glass doors — visible in the photographs as a book-lined retreat with a daybed and ceiling fan, the kind of room that accumulates afternoon light and invites a long read. The kitchen bar has stools. There’s a full bath with shower, air conditioning, a microwave and refrigerator, and a streaming TV.

    Dogs have always been welcome here, and the ground-floor entrance makes the arrangement easy — no elevator diplomacy, no carpeted staircase negotiations, just a door that opens onto the garden.
